Minutes of the February 1, 2005 meeting of the CONSERVATION BOARD of the TOWN OF ORCHARD PARK, Municipal Center, Second Floor Conference Room, 4295 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, New York at 7:00 PM, present were the following:
MEMBERS PRESENT: James Loesch, Chairman

Frank Newton
Richard Schechter
David Ward
EXCUSED: Thomas Jaeger
George Schichtel
OTHERS PRESENT: Nan Ackerman, Councilwoman
OTHER ATTENDEES: Sarah Tranum, “Southtown’s Citizen”
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. by stating that any person before this Board who is a relative of, or who has a financial or business relationship with any officer or employee of the Town of Orchard park must disclose the nature and extent of such relationship in accordance with the provisions of the Ethics Law of the Town of Orchard Park.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
MOTION made by Richard Schechter, seconded by Frank Newton, to accept the minutes of the January 4, 2005 meeting.
MOTION UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
OTHER BUSINESS
Ann Bergantz reviewed the property and recommended to approve the easement request.
MOTION made by David Ward, seconded by Richard Schechter to approve the easement request.
MOTION UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
2. Conservation Easement request – Raymond Williams, 6806 Cole Road. Requesting a 15-year easement on 13.37 acres.
Ann Bergantz reviewed the property and recommended to approve the easement request.
MOTION made by Frank Newton, seconded by Richard Schechter to approve the easement request.
MOTION UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

MOTION made by Richard Schechter, seconded by David Ward to approve the easement request. With the clarification that this would add an additional 5 years to the existing 10 year easement.
MOTION UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
4. Conservation Easement request – James & Toni Cudney, 5991 Scherff Road. Requesting a 50-year easement on 26.24 acres. Town Board referred to Conservation Board on 1/5/05.
Ann Bergantz reviewed the property and recommended to approve the easement request.
MOTION made by Frank Newton, seconded by David Ward to approve the easement request.
MOTION UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
With no other business to be presented to the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. by UNANIMOUS APPROVAL.
