PARKS & PLAYGROUND DIRECTIONS

All directions depart from the Municipal Building at 4295 S. Buffalo Street.

 

 

1.  Birdsong Park & Nature Trail

Approximately 60 acres. Facilities Include: Passive Area, Nature Trails, and open play areas.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go South on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                             1.1 miles

·          Turn left onto Jewett Holmwood Rd                                            1.5 miles

·          Turn left onto Birdsong Pkwy                                                       0.1 miles

·          Take the first left when the median breaks onto the gravel road.  Parking is by the sign at the end of the road. 

 

2.  Brush Mountain Park   
Approximately 75.40 acres. Facilities Include: 4 Baseball diamonds, Recreation Building.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go North on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                 0.1 miles

·         Turn left onto US-20A (W Quaker St)                         1.8 miles

·         Turn sharply left onto California Rd                            0.4 miles

 

 

3.  Burmon Playground

Approximately 13.50 acres. Facilities Include: Playground, 2 Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, Club House/Storage Facility, and a .52 mile track.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go North on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                             1.6 miles

·          Turn left onto Milestrip Rd                                                          2.1 miles

·          Turn right onto Abbott Rd                                                             0.8 miles

·          Turn right onto Lakeview Av

·          Entrance and parking for the park is on the left further up

 

 

4.  Chestnut Ridge Village

  There are currently nature trails that are being updated.  There are no other recreation facilities at this time. 

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go South on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)

·          Turn right on Ashwood Lane

·          Area with picnic tables is on the right before Sitka Circle

 

 

 

 

5.  Eagle Heights Playground

Approximately 10.60 acres. Facilities Include: Tot Lot, Park Benches, ½ Basketball Court.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go South on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)

·          Turn left onto Jewett Holmwood Rd                                           

·          Turn right onto Valley View Dr                                                      0.2 miles

·          Turn right onto Pine Ter                                                               0.3 miles

·          Turn right onto Greenwood Dr                                                    

·          Follow Greenwood to the end.  The park is on Pawtucket Row and is straight ahead.

 

 

6.  Green Lake/ Yates Park

Approximately 51.0 acres. Facilities Include: Tot lot, Swings, Picnic Area, 90' Baseball Diamond, Little League Fields, Beach Front Swimming Area, Bath House / Restrooms, Basketball Court, Bocce Courts, 4 Shelters, Recreation Building, Hiking Trails, Boating Access, Storage Building.

·          Go South on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                             0.7 miles

·          Turn right onto N Lake Dr                                                            0.3 miles

·          You are at 200 N Lake Dr,Orchard Park,NY

 

 

 

7.  Honeycrest Playground

Approximately 15.0 acres. Facilities Include: 60' Baseball Diamond, Basketball Court, Picnic Tables, Recreation Building.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go North on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                             2.1 miles

·          Turn left onto Lake Av                                                                  0.8 miles

·          Turn right onto Lakewood Dr                                                       0.1 miles

·          Go straight after the stop sign

·          The parking lot will be on your right.  You must walk into the park through designated entrance

 

8.  Milestrip Road Recreation Complex Located at 6909 Milestrip Road.                                        Approximately 5 acres of Playing Fields and passive nature area.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go North on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                             1.6 miles

·          Turn right onto Milestrip Rd                                       0.7 miles

·          You are at 6909 Milestrip Rd,Orchard Park,NY  Follow the drive to the fields in the back. 

 

 

 

9.  Orchard Meadows Playground

Approximately 7.35 acres. Facilities Include:   Playground, Park Benches, Picnic Benches, picnic Tables, 2 Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, Softball Diamond.

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go South on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St)                             1.3 miles

·          Turn right onto New Armor Duells Rd                                         1.1 miles

·          Continue onto Armor Duells Rd                                                    1.2 miles

·          Turn left onto Old Orchard Ln                                                     0.2 miles

·          Old Orchard Lane is a circle but turn left for the closer entrance.  The parking lot is on the right.  The park is surrounded by the neighborhood. 

 

 

 

 

 

10.  The Hammocks Nature Trail

·          You are at 4295 S Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Go N on RT-240 (RT-277, S Buffalo St) for 1.6 miles to 3500-3520 N Buffalo St,Orchard Park,NY

·          Access to the trail is off N. Buffalo Street near The Hammocks Apartment Complex and Southwestern Blvd.   there is no parking along North Buffalo Road but parking can be found in the Tops shopping plaza. 

 

11.  Veteran's Park:       
Approximately 0.20 acres. Facilities Include: Passive area, Park Benchs.

·         Turn left onto US-20A (W Quaker St) The park is next to Arthur’s Hardware on the left.
