SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE

The Supervisor's Office is on the second floor of the Municipal Center and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm. To speak with Supervisor Mary Travers Murphy stop in or call her office at 662-6400.

The Town Supervisor is the highest elected official in Orchard Park government. The Supervisor acts as the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of the Town. The Supervisor is also the "chairman" of the Town Board. The Supervisor sets the agendas for all public meetings and work sessions of the Town Board and conducts these meetings.

The Supervisor's Office is responsible for the day to day operation of the Town, including such functions as accounting, budgeting, payroll and personnel. The Supervisor is responsible for filing of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This report is audited and then reviewed by the Government Finance Officers' Association. The Supervisor's Office has received the "Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting" each year since coming into office.
