Throughout my career, community interaction, education, and clear communication have been a priority of mine. I look forward to using our website to continue to partner with our residents and the entire Town and Village of Orchard Park. We are so fortunate to serve this incredible community and I am excited to highlight the amazing work our employees do each and every day.

Orchard Park Police Department Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the Town of Orchard Park Police Department is the protection of life and property, enforcement of laws, reduction of crimes, maintaining public order, and the delivery of services that promote community well-being.

What are the hours of operation?

The Orchard Park Police Department is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We can be contacted in person by coming into the department lobby or by phone for non-emergencies at 716-662-6444.

Does the Police Department offer fingerprinting?

The department offers paper card fingerprinting at no charge for residents of Orchard Park, government agencies, and employees of companies located in Orchard Park. Non-residents can have fingerprinting done at a charge of $20.00 per card. Payments should be made at the Town Clerk's Office during their business hours prior to the appointment. If it is outside business hours, a check made payable to the Orchard Park Town Clerk will be accepted.

Does the Police Department offer Car Seat Inspections?

The Orchard Park Police Department offers child seat inspections for parents and other drivers seeking assistance with associated devices. Inspections are done by appointment only, to ensure a certified staff member is on duty. To be placed on the appointment list call the non-emergency line at 716-662-6444. There is no charge for this service.

How do I get a copy of my Accident Report?

To obtain a copy of your accident report online, use  CRASHDOCS.ORG. You will need the following:

  • Complaint number given to you by the officer taking your report
  • Last name of the party involved
  • Date of the accident.

Accident reports are not available for immediate access as they have to go through an approval process.

How do I get a copy of my Police Report?

If you need a copy of your police report call the non-emergency phone line at 716-662-6444 to confirm that the report is ready. If the report is ready come into the Police Department with identification to obtain a copy of this report. Police reports are not available for immediate access as they have to go through an approval process.

How do I file a FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) Request?

All requests for Orchard Park Police Department reports and documents covered under Article 6 of the New York State Public Officers Law should be directed to the police department. This can be done in person at the station by requesting to complete a FOIL Request Form.

How do I request my residence be checked when I will be out of town?

The police department does frequent patrols of neighborhoods throughout Orchard Park during the day and night hours. If you will be out of town you can request that your address be added to the premise checklist. Patrols will pay extra attention to your residence looking for suspicious activity during this time.
