Orchard Park Police Department – Senior Police Clerk
Residency in the Town of Orchard Park is required
The Town of Orchard Park Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Senior Police Clerk within the Police Department. The Senior Police Clerk is a full time exempt civil service position.
Duties: Prepare and complete for review all necessary reports. Maintain log of all information requested (including FOIL requests) for civilians, local, State and Federal agencies. Answer telephones, emails and other requests as necessary. Prepare for review and maintain department records as required (schedules, payroll, budget, etc.). Assists in supervising and training personnel in the position of Police Clerk. Operate appropriate computer programs to include, but not limited to CHARMS (dispatch and records), KRONOS (time keeping) and TRACS (accident reporting). Complete other duties as directed by the Chief of Police or his designee.
The salary for this position is $20.25 per hour.
Qualifications: Completion of sixty (60) semester hours at a regionally accredited or New York registered two or four year college or university; or
Eight years (8) of general office or business experience: or
An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined above.
